Romsoft has written a PharmaLedger News Feature on their website.
Romsoft, PharmaLedger’s technical partner, has written the featured article “PharmaLedger: The Blockchain revolution is happening.” RomSoft introduces PharmaLedger, and notes its main objective of building a “trust-based ecosystem for all the actors involved, whether they are manufacturers, health authorities, clinical sites, distributors, or patients.” The article lists the eight use cases and focuses on the eLeaflet use case. The biggest challenge for digitising medical leaflets in the healthcare industry revolves around the issue of trust, which is exactly what this PharmaLedger use case wishes to address with blockchain technology.
How can blockchain address this issue? “With PharmaLedger, the potential solution is considered not only from the backend point of view but from an end-to-end approach with benefits for all ecosystem players,” is stated in the article. The article also asks: Why put it on the blockchain? By doing so, it provides trustworthy information, such as the authenticity of the given medical product, or important medicine updates, such as recalls. But it doesn’t stop there, blockchain allows the layering of other information and use cases that add to the overall value across the healthcare ecosystem and those involved.
Opening the Conversation
We are excited to be working with our technical partner Romsoft to build digital trust in the healthcare ecosystem. Our eLeaflet use case, which falls under the supply chain domain, is just the beginning when it comes to bringing trustworthy and relevant information quickly to patients. Along with our seven other use cases, we aim to create more efficient and transparent supply chains, improve clinical trial processes, provide personalised medicine, and use remote patient monitoring for accurate health recording.
You can learn more about our four use cases from the supply chain domain by watching our webinar recording from PharmaLedger’s First Open Webinar: “A Trust-Centric Healthcare Journey”. We encourage you to register and join our second open webinar, “A Trust-Centric Healthcare Journey Part II: Clinical Trial & Health Data Use Cases,” which will cover the remaining use cases under health data and clinical trials that will occur on the 24th of February and the 3rd of March.
We are excited to see the PharmaLedger project mentioned throughout various articles and websites. If you are interested to get the latest news about the PharmaLedger project, sign up for our newsletter below.
