One of our Pharmaledger partners, Romsoft, has been featured in an article from the Jurnal Virtual in regards to its involvement with Pharmaledger. Together with Novartis, Romsoft is a co-lead of the PharmaLedger architecture workpackage.
The article titled “The Iasi company RomSoft provides Blockchain technology for safer medicines,” explains how Romsoft is taking part in building the PharmaLedger platform. The article notes how the PharmaLedger project aims to ensure traceability and immutability of data in healthcare supply chains using blockchain technology, tackle counterfeit medicine and improve clinical trial processes. Romsoft has proposed a concept to help improve data confidentiality and reach fewer problems related to system speed and performance throughout the PharmaLedger project.
The author points out that it is beneficial to learn about the advantages of blockchain and there’s no need in going too in-depth with learning the details if one isn’t interested in doing so. Just like the technology of one’s mobile’s applications, one can be using very complex technologies with a user-friendly interface to solve problems immediately, without knowing how it works. The same can be applied to blockchain. Knowing the advantages of this technology can also help if one is faced with having to choose between a classic system or one that uses blockchain, which is likely to happen in the near future.
